Description
The laboratory intern will assist staff in
- Sample preparation methods
- Routine analytical procedures
- General laboratory housekeeping
Students are trained on standard laboratory methods and good laboratory practices. If time allows, there will be opportunities to explore more specialized analytical methods and procedures. Laboratory assistants always work under the direct supervision of staff. These are paid internships.
Qualifications include current major in a science or engineering field.
Chemistry background is desirable.
