Shubham Goswami is a postdoctoral research associate jointly working with Nebraska Water Center and Biological Systems Engineering, University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He joined the position in April 2025. His postdoctoral research work primarily focuses on coupling CLASSIM and MODFLOW to model the Nitrate transport in agricultural watershed.
Shubham’s research interests span from farm scale agricultural management practices to large scale hydrological processes. His research is driven by the twenty-three unsolved problems in hydrology with special emphasis on anthropogenic influence on hydrological cycle at various spatio-temporal scales. Shubham has been part of various interdisciplinary projects focusing on groundwater resources assessment, managed aquifer recharge, coupled surface-groundwater processes and understanding ET patterns at global scale.
