This fall, the Nebraska Water Center will hold two virtual office hours sessions. The purpose of the virtual office hours is to facilitate research development and build connections between researchers and stakeholders throughout the state.
We encourage attendance from stakeholders who are looking for University partnerships to conduct water research, researchers who are looking for support in finding funding opportunities, and partners throughout the state and region who are interested in being more engaged in water research in Nebraska.
The first virtual office hours session will be held on Friday, November 7, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. This initial session will include updates from the Nebraska Water Center with the following proposed topics:
- An overview of current and previous large-scale research proposals led by the Nebraska Water Center
- High impact publications
Following updates from the Nebraska Water Center, we encourage attendees to share their research ideas and in-progress proposals. The Nebraska Water Center team will provide input on potential funding and partner opportunities and help make connections.
If time allows, the Nebraska Water Center will also provide an update on water rules, regulations, and policy in the state.
You can attend the virtual office hours at go.unl.edu/NWCofficehours.
An additional virtual office hours session will be held on Friday, December 5, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Additional sessions are planned for 2026, and dates will be announced soon.
