We welcome proposals for sessions at the 2025 Great Plains Water Conference. Held September 18 and 19 at the Milo Bail Student Center on the University of Nebraska Omaha campus, this multi-state event will discuss Securing Water Resources for Tomorrow.
Join researchers, governments, nonprofits, state agencies, and students from Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, Missouri, South Dakota, and North Dakota to share how communities across the Great Plains are planning for their future water resources.
If you’re interested in speaking during the conference breakout sessions, please fill out the form at go.unl.edu/gpwc. Breakout session talks are anticipated to be 15-20 minutes long and on the following topics:
- Water smart communities and watersheds
- Water quality monitoring and treatment strategies
- Emerging contaminants
- Wellhead protection
- Education and outreach
- Basin management
The Call for Proposals form will be open through June 13, 2025. Selected proposals will be notified by the end of June.
