Water Law, Policy and Science Conference

  • Each annual conference, held in the Spring, features a different theme. Current and past themes have included:
    • Water Quality Issues Important to Nebraska and the Great Plains (2008)
    • The Future of Water Use in Agriculture (2007)
    • Adaptive Management for Resilient Water Resources (2006)
    • Water Management and Policy in the Great Plains: Implications of Drought and Climate Change (2005)
    • Finding Solutions to Multi-jurisdictional Water Conflicts (2004)

Water Colloquium

  • This annual colloquium, held in October, showcases faculty and student research to other faculty members and others interested in water-related research.

Water Tour

  • Annual tour, usually held in June.

Spring Seminar Series

  • The purpose of the seminar series is to provide a forum to increase awareness of water issues and for thoughtful discussion of alternatives aimed at the wise management of Nebraska's surface and groundwater resources.
